Cinderella Ball at the Metro Center




The Prince invited the princesses to an enchanted night at the castle where they danced the night away to music and the movies Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Shrek and more. The little ladies came in their best Princess dresses and danced the night away!

CSI Week at Summer Camp




We've been busy this year at the Princeton Park District Summer Camp! There have already been trips to Wildlife Prairie Park, Niabi Zoo, the Princeton Fire Station, and several parks around town. We like to take advantage of the warm weather and sun by swimming every day, playing "slip-n-slides" and spending time outside on the playground, having picnics or taking walks. Coming up, we have trips to a Peoria Chiefs game, the Children's Discovery Museum in Bloomington, and the Amtrak Train Museum in Mendota. Plus, there will be many more local trips. Each week at camp has a different theme, including Nickelodeon week, CSI week, Camp Olympics, Cooking week, Sports of all Sorts, and many more. Our numbers have nearly doubled since last summer, and we know our campers are enjoying every day!

The Bureau County Metro Center came to life with nautical nonsense during the first SpongeBob Underwater Adventure on January 9, 2010. Shoemake Hall was transformed into an underwater adventure complete with Krusty Krab and it's employees.
