Looking for a great way to honor a very special person, remember a notable event, or recognize an outstanding organization? The Princeton Park District is proud to offer the Living Tree Memorial Program. Through this program, you can remember a person, event or organization by having a tree planted in their name. With your monetary contribution, a tree will be planted in a Princeton Park. In addition, the name of the person, event or organization and the year will be displayed on a plaque in the Bureau County Metro Center. This program will also benefit the community as a whole, and the tree can be enjoyed for years to come. To get a Living Tree Memorial, a $25 donation towards a tree fund and a $300 donation towards the purchase of the tree is needed. A specific tree request will be honored with any additional cost paid by the donor.
