The Skate Park is located at the north end of Alexander Park.


The facility is free to use and open to all age groups using skateboards and rollerblades. Sorry, no bikes allowed.

Skate Park Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

RULES AND GUIDELINES
• Skating area is unsupervised; participants skate at their own risk.

• Caution: Inline skating and skateboarding are high-risk recreational activities. RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WITHIN YOUR ABILITIES. Falls are likely to occur and can result in sprains, bruises, abrasions, and more serious bodily injuries and/or death.

• It is required that proper protective equipment such as helmets, elbow pads, knee pads, etc. be used during skating and boarding activities.

• Skaters are responsible for inspecting all facility equipment and skating surfaces prior to use to ensure that it has not been vandalized and is safe for skating. Do not use equipment if it is broken or wet. Contact the Princeton Park District at (815) 872-0840 if equipment is damaged.

• Skate Park will be closed when snow and ice inhibit participation

• Alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products prohibited

• No profanity

• No fighting

• No dangerous skating and boarding

• No improper use of equipment

• No loud noises, loud music, or graffiti (stickers, markers, spray painting, etc.)

• No bicycles and scooters

• No personally owned ramps, boxes, or other devices

• No glass objects or containers

• No food and drinks in skating area

Look for flyers on skateboard clinic dates this summer.

The Park District may elect to temporarily or permanently close the Skate Park if the rules are not followed. We need your help to keep it open!
